Pass the Plate

Stepp Law Group has proudly served as Presenting Sponsor of Union County Community Shelter's Pass the Plate event since its inception, which raises thousands of dollars each year to support the growth and maintenance of the Union County Community Shelter.  Our firm is grateful for the support given to our Union County community by the staff at the Union County Community Shelter; their work is important and positively impacts our community, which is why it is a cause so dear to our hearts. 

Alex Kahle Foundation

Stepp Law Group has supported this non-profit for many years, and has Stepp served in 2018, and again in 2019 as the Presenting Sponsor of the Evening Under the Sun event, which raises money to fund scholarships for young women in Union County.

Dancers Against Cancer

Stepp Law Group has served as a sponsor/donor for many years to Dancers Against Cancer, a non-profit raising awareness and funding to find a cure for and fight cancer.

Red Cross Ball Committee 

Stepp Law Group supports the Union County Red Cross, and our firm has participated on the committee for the Union County Red Cross' Rhapsody in Red Ball. The Union County Red Cross supports thousands in our community and around the world. The Rhapsody in Red Ball raises thousands of dollars each year that go towards assisting those in need in our community and around the globe. 

Core Compassion Project

Core Compassion Project raises money to sponsor breast cancer patients in Pilates rehabilitation to rehabilitate breast cancer survivors’ mind, body, and spirit. This rehabilitation assists with re-building the muscle around the affected area and brings spirit and hope back to those who have suffered through breast cancer treatments. Stepp Law Group is proud to have served as a Presenting Sponsor for Core Compassion Project’s Girls Night Out annual fundraiser.

Union County Community Shelter Boots and Bowties Event

Stepp Law Group serves as a sponsor at various levels each year for the Boots and Bowties event, which raises money to support the Union County Community Shelter. In 2018, this fundraiser raised in excess of $100,000.00 for the Community Shelter, and Stepp Law Group was honored to support this event.

Union County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Program

Stepp Law Group is proud to have served as Presenting Sponsor of the Union County Chamber of Commerce Women in Business program since its inception. The Women In Business program promotes networking and service among the women in the Union County job market. Stepp Law Group's sponsorship helps provide quarterly lunch meetings, speeches, and networking events for women in Union County and surrounding areas. 

Weddington United Methodist Church

Donna B. Stepp, owner of Stepp Law Group, PLLC, volunteers as legal counsel to Weddington United Methodist Church, and has served on various boards for the the Church since 2002.  

Law School Moot Court

Our firm members have served as Judges for both Moot Court Competitions and Mock Trial Competitions, including at Donna Stepp’s law school, Campbell University. We look forward to continuing to volunteer our time to prepare current law students for legal brief writing and oral arguments in front of prestigious members of the national Family Law practice area. 

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Stepp Law Group was proud to serve in 2017 as sponsor to a fundraising effort for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The LLS does work in our area that greatly impacts both children and adults in significant ways, searching for and providing cures and treatments to blood cancer patients.  

Taste of Union

Stepp Law Group served for several years as a sponsor for Taste of Union, which showcases local foods and chefs to the public to raise money for Operation Reach Out Ministries, which provides emergency funding for food, clothing, medicine, and fuel, and provides Christian counseling and life-skills classes. 

Union County Symphony Ball

Stepp Law Group served as Presenting Sponsor in 2016 and 2017 for the Union County Symphony Ball. The Union County Symphony provides a home to Union County's talented musicians, and focuses on instilling the arts in our younger generations in addition to providing breathtaking performances year after year. The annual ball raises funds to support the Symphony and its programs, and we are proud to be a part of keeping the arts alive in Union County.

Weddington Middle School Career Day

Firm owner, Donna Stepp,  participated in Weddington Middle School's Career Day for the past couple of years, showcasing to students what the career and typical day for an attorney look like. She spent the day with students presenting and answering questions so that the young minds of Weddington Middle School could begin to think about their career paths. 

Weddington High School Athletics

Stepp Law Group proudly serves as a Scoreboard Sponsor for all Weddington High School Athletics, and has been honored to do so since 2016. Go Warriors!
